The site offers a brief history of the genesis of Fado and clarification of the different types of Fado. The site is keen to point out that Fado should be understood as a uniquely Portuguese symbol of cultural identity and is not the national song. Cultural através da Live e Internet, organizada pela "Escola
de Carreiras e Estudos Aplicados de Nova Iorque (NYSCAS)" Teve lugar no passado dia 5 de Outubro, um evento de intercâmbio cultural tendo como base de sustentanção a harmonia e partilha do ser humano, na presença da LIVE Apresentações através da Internet. O Prof. Richard Green lecciona a disciplina de "Discurso Básico de Counicação" em ingles como segundo idioma estrangeiro, no Touro College de Nova Iorque - Curso de Carreiras e Estudos Aplicados (NYSCAS) e foi ele o mentor da apresentação. Esta apresentação foi aberta com a intervenção do Prof. R. Green, alertando os alunos de topo da sua classe, sendo eles oriundos do Mexico, Porto Rico e Haiti. Foi tocada música tradicional Portuguesa, declamados poemas em português e de autores Espanhois. O principal objectivo é como captar através da escuta a principal habilidade da fronteira cultural, explicou o Prof. R. Green. Quando todo o Mundo interiorizar esta mensagem, poderão acreditar que falar e escrever, será uma mais valia, acreditando que comunicar deste modo, é agora mais do que nunca o melhor modo de improvisar o modo de falar, escrever e ouvir.
